Brian Gentile

Brian Gentile has spent more than 30 years as an operator inside technology companies — from Apple and Sun Microsystems at scale, to Brio, Informatica, and TIBCO in the mid-market, to Jaspersoft as Chairman and CEO. Across all of it, he developed a rare ability to connect strategic vision to market execution — and built a career as a four-time public company CMO by knowing how to identify a market, target it precisely, and evangelize it relentlessly.

His coaching is defined by two things that rarely travel together: strategic depth and gifted instruction. Brian doesn't just identify the right move — he teaches the CEO how to see it themselves. He brings proven playbooks to every conversation, drawn from decades of navigating fundraising, M&A, board dynamics, and organizational transformation on both sides of the table. He first joined 10X CEO as a member in 2009 while serving as Chairman and CEO of Jaspersoft. The program accelerated his own development so substantially that he became one of its most vocal advocates — and in 2017, joined Mark and Dermot as a Managing Director to help more CEOs do the same. His goal, as he has stated plainly, is to create the greatest CEO group imaginable and to help each CEO reach his or her greatest potential.
