Mark Helow founded 10X CEO on a simple but demanding belief: the fastest way for a high-potential CEO to grow is to be in a room with other CEOs who are better than them. He has spent 35 years testing that belief — and building the rooms to prove it.

He was the youngest Chair ever hired by Vistage at age 28, then built his own CEO peer group process in partnership with Inc Magazine before turning his full attention to venture-backed CEOs in 2011. Since then, he has worked closely with the CEOs behind Databricks, HashiCorp, Grammarly, Klaviyo, and dozens of other high-growth companies navigating the complexity of scale.

Mark's particular focus is the inflection point that most coaching programs miss: what happens after $100M in revenue, when the CEO's job fundamentally changes and the skills that got them there are no longer sufficient. He sees around corners. He spots the opportunity — and the constraint — before most people in the room have framed the question. That's not a technique. It's how he's wired.

His conviction is that elite CEO development works the same way elite athletic training does: through deep benchmarking against peers who are exceptional, deeply committed to their craft, and willing to be pushed. His job — the one he's been doing for 35 years — is to find those people and put them in the same room.
