Before Stuart Frankel became a coach and advisor to CEOs, he spent more than twenty years leading multiple venture and PE-backed technology companies as a board member, founder, CEO, COO, and CFO. As co-founder and CEO of Narrative Science — a generative AI pioneer — he led the company from inception through its acquisition by Salesforce in 2021. Earlier, as COO and then CEO of Performics, he scaled a technology-enabled marketing services business through its acquisition by DoubleClick and subsequently by Google.
Stuart describes being a CEO of a venture-backed tech business as running a marathon while people lining the route throw metal folding chairs at you. He's run that race multiple times — raising capital, scaling teams, navigating boards, and making high-stakes decisions often with limited information. That experience allows him to see around corners that first or second-time CEOs often can't.
He coaches founders and CEOs of high-growth technology companies who are serious about scaling both their business and their leadership capacity.
